GamersGate continues to add new titles and publishers to its lineup and today the company announced that it will be providing a number of Electronic Arts titles to its library of titles. Games like Spore, Command and Conquer: Red Alerrt 3, Warhammer Online and Lord of the Rings Conquest are now available to download.

As previously announced earlier this month at the New York Comic Con, BioWare has now launched an online comic book that will serve as a prequel to their upcoming MMO title Star Wars: The Old Republic. The comic book can be found on the game's official web site and is being created with the help of long time Star Wars comic book publisher Dark Horse Comics.

Bohemia Interactive may not be happy with Codemasters at the moment but they must be happy at the looks of their upcoming military shooter sequel ArmA II. This week the developer sent out eight new screenshots from the title and yes, we've added them to our already massive gallery of shots.

If you live in the state of Wisconsin, you might want to buy and download a bunch of games via Steam while you can. The Spectator web site reports that the state's governor Jim Doyle signed a bill into law this week that, among other things, imposes a 5 percent sales tax on any digital downloads. Yep, that includes games. The tax will go into effect on Oct. 1.

It seems like this has been the week to have beta launches of games. The latest title to announce it is in beta is Dungeon Party, the cartoony-like free-to-play fantasy MMO from French developer Cyanide Studios (they are the same folks that are also making Blood Bowl).
